Terms of Use for Restaurant and Bar Lounge
Date of Enactment: April 1, 2021
Hotel Nikko Osaka (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”) has established the following Terms of Use to ensure that guests can use the Hotel with peace of mind. Please note that reservations and use of the Hotel's restaurant and bar lounge (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities”) are subject to these Terms of Use and other “Terms and Conditions” that may be separately specified by the Hotel.
Business Hours
The hours of operation for the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities are indicated on the brochures provided, signs posted throughout the Hotel, etc. In addition, the hours of operation may be temporarily changed or the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities may be closed due to unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, guests will be notified using an appropriate method.
Exemptions
- A. Menus are subject to change due to availability of menu items, etc.
- B. Guests who have any allergies should notify the Hotel's staff to that effect in advance. If such notification is not provided, the Hotel will bear no responsibility whatsoever for any damages suffered by guests.
Changing and Cancelling Reservations
In the event that you cancel a reservation or change the number of guests (including partial cancellation of a reservation due to a decrease in the number of guests), a cancellation fee will be charged in accordance with the following. In addition, for items that have already been ordered or for which arrangements have been made (including special order items), a fee corresponding to the orders that have been placed or arrangements that have already been made will be charged.

Prohibitions
- A. Bringing dogs (except seeing-eye dogs and service dogs), cats, small birds, other pet animals, livestock, etc. into the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities.
- B. Bringing ignitable or inflammable items into the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities.
- C. Bringing items that emit foul or unusual odors into the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities.
- D. Gambling and other activities that are disruptive to public morals, or speech and/or conduct that is disruptive to other patrons.
- E. Movement of furnishings, etc.
- F. Use of the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities for purposes other than their intended purposes.
- G. Ordering or bringing in food and beverages from outside the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities.
- H. Conduct contrary to laws and ordinances or public order and morals.
- I. Other conduct prohibited by laws and regulations.
Refusal of Use and Cancellation of Reservations and Contracts
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse the use of the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities (including reservations and/or contracts for use of the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities) in the following cases.
- A. When use is not possible due to natural disasters, facility failures, or other unavoidable reasons.
- B. When guests fall under any of the following.
- (1) Organized crime groups as defined by the “Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts of Organized Crime Group Members” (Act No. 77 of 1991), members, etc. of organized crime groups, and the associates thereof, as well as any other antisocial forces (hereinafter referred to as “Organized Crime Groups, Etc.”);
- (2) Corporations or other groups whose business activities are controlled by Organized Crime Groups, Etc. or their constituent members;
- (3) Corporations whose directors fall under Organized Crime Groups, Etc. or their constituent members; or
- (4) Parties who are determined likely to engage in conduct contrary to laws and ordinances or public order and morals.
- C. In the event that guests use speech or engage in behavior that is seriously disturbing to other guests of the Hotel.
- D. In the event that guests have made violent demands on the Hotel or its staff, or have made demands that would impose a burden on the Hotel or its staff that is in excess of what is reasonable.
- E. In the event that these Terms of Use have been violated (including cases where the Hotel determines that such a violation is likely to occur).
- F. When the intended use of the Hotel is deemed unacceptable by the Hotel at time of use.
Compensation for Damages
Guests (including all parties associated with the guests) and contractors directly commissioned by the guests should take sufficient care to avoid breaking or damaging the Hotel's facilities, fixtures, etc. If the Hotel has suffered any damages such as damage to facilities, fixtures, etc., the party or parties responsible for such damages will be required to repair the damage as soon as possible or pay compensation for the damages accordingly.
Use of Parking Facilities
Users of the Hotel's Food and Beverage Facilities may be entitled to complimentary use of parking facilities, depending on the amount they have spent. Please present your parking ticket at the facility you use when paying. In addition, when using the parking facilities, guests should abide by the parking facilities usage rules posted in the parking facilities.
